Capsicum Chutney



Ingredients:
Capsicum - 2(finely chopped)
Grated coconut - 2 tbsp 

Gralic pods - 4 
Green chilli - 1
Mustard seeds - 1 tsp 

Jeera - 1 tsp 
curry leaves - few 
Chana dal - 1 tsp  
Urad dal - 1 tsp 
Asafoetida - pinch 
Roasted sesame seed powder - 1 tbsp
Oil - 2 tbsp 
Salt to taste

Method of preparation :

  1. Heat some oil in pan add capsicum and saute until it turns into soft.
  2. Add grated coconut garlic pods and jeera ,sesame seed powder and saute for 2 minutes.
  3. Remove from heat and let it cool for some time. Grind into fine paste and keep it in separate bowl.
  4. Heat some oil in a pan. Pop the mustard seeds, jeera, chana dal,urad dal, curry leaves asafoetida and green chilli.
  5. Add this tempering to the capsicum paste and mix well.
  6. Very tasty capsicum chutney is ready to eat with Rice or Roti or Dosa.
