Soya Meal Maker Fry


Soya is very healthy food. Soya meal makers are rich in protein. I like to eat soya so I tried in different ways. This is the one of my tried recipes with soya. It is very simple and easy to make. This is a ideal recipe for Supper.I hope you like it. Happy cooking......

Ingredients: 

Soya Meal Maker - 1 cup 
Grated Carrot - 1/2 cup 
Grated Coconut - 2 tbsp 
Garlic(Chopped) - 1 tbsp 
Red chilli powder - 1 tsp
Garam Masala powder - 1 tsp
Dhania -Jeera powder - 1 tsp 

Turmeric powder - 1 tsp
Coriander leaves - 2 tbsp 

Roasted peanuts - 2 tbsp 
Salt to taste 
Cooking Oil - 2 tbsp


Method of preparation:

  1. Boil salt water in a big vessel. Add the Meal maker to the boiling water and keep aside for 10 minutes.
  2. Drain water and squeeze dry the meal maker. Cut the soft meal maker in two pieces.Keep it aside.
  3. Heat oil in pan add chopped garlic, grated carrot saute for two minutes and add grated coconut saute for 2 minutes.
  4. Add salt and turmeric powder saute for a minute.
  5. Add all mentioned masala powders and stir well and saute for a minute.
  6. Add  few drops of water and soya meal maker saute until it gets cooks.
  7. Finally add Roasted peanuts and Coriander leaves and mix well.
  8. Hot and spicy meal maker fry is ready to eat with hot rice.
