Ingredients:
Capsicum - 2(finely chopped)
Grated coconut - 2 tbsp
Gralic pods - 4
Green chilli - 1
Mustard seeds - 1 tsp
Jeera - 1 tsp
curry leaves - few
Chana dal - 1 tsp
Urad dal - 1 tsp
Asafoetida - pinch
Roasted sesame seed powder - 1 tbsp
Oil - 2 tbsp
Salt to taste
Method of preparation :
- Heat some oil in pan add capsicum and saute until it turns into soft.
- Add grated coconut garlic pods and jeera ,sesame seed powder and saute for 2 minutes.
- Remove from heat and let it cool for some time. Grind into fine paste and keep it in separate bowl.
- Heat some oil in a pan. Pop the mustard seeds, jeera, chana dal,urad dal, curry leaves asafoetida and green chilli.
- Add this tempering to the capsicum paste and mix well.
- Very tasty capsicum chutney is ready to eat with Rice or Roti or Dosa.
