Ingredients:
Jowar (pearlmillet)- 2 cups
Urad dal (split black lentils)-1 cup
Fenugreek seeds (methi)- 1 tbsp
Salt to taste
Cooking oil -2 tbsp

Method of preparation:
- Soak both Jowar and urad dal in water separately for 6 to 8 hrs.
- Rinse and clean both jowar and urad dal separately.
- Grind them in wet grinder like usual idly batter.
- Add salt, mix it thoroughly.
- If we want to ferment the batter u keep the batter aside for 4 to 5 hrs otherwise we can also use instantly.
- Now batter is ready to make idlis.
- Take idly trays and grease them with oil.
- Put idly batter on idly trays properly.
- Steam the above idly trays for 10 to 15 mints.
- Before serving apply ghee on idlis, it gives good taste.
- Now yummy hot idlis ready to eat with coconut chutney.
