Indian Popular Lassi (IPL)

 Today my recipe is Indian popular lassi (IPL). This is very refreshing drink for brunch time. It is especially helpful during summers where the body needs coolants to guard against excessive heat. In summer every one likes to drink daily to avoid dehydration. Plain Lassi is one of the finest, unique and refreshing summer drinks. A very popular beverage throughout the Asian countries!
 Other health benefits from fresh yogurt include decreased bloating, relief of both constipation and diarrhea and other stomach disorders. Lassi helps to cure the acute diarrhea caused by Gastroenteritis and helps the digestive process. It is very simple to make. In this ingredients are fresh low fat yogurt(curd),milk, honey and some dry fruits. Due to low fat yogurt everyone should drink it daily in summer. I hope you like it too......happy cooking.......

Low fat yogurt(curd) - 11/2 cup
Low fat Milk - 1/4 cup
Honey - 2 tsp
Cardamom powder - 1/4 tsp
Dry fruits, finely chopped - 1 tbs 

Method of preparation:
  1. Combine all the ingredients except dry fruits and blend in a mixer for 2-3 minutes and pour  into serving glasses. 
  2. Now yummy and tasty lassi is ready to serve chilled with dry Fruits.
