Barley Idly

 

Ingredients:

Barley - 1 cup
Boiled Rice - 1/2 cup
Urad Dal - 1/2 cup
Fenugreek Seeds - 1 tbsp.
Salt - to taste




Method of preparation:
  1. Rinse and soak barley, rice& urad dal in water for 6to8 hrs.
  2. First grind urad dal till it is smooth, then add rice and barley to make idly batter with dropping   consistency like normal idly batter.
  3. It is better to ferment the batter for 4hrs, otherwise we can also make idly instantly.
  4. Put the batter on idly tray and steam the idlis for 10 to 15 mints.
  5. Serve tasty& healthy idlis with nice chutney.
